GITC Leadership & Martin Guitars
We want to give a shout out to all of you GITC Faculty Trainers, volunteers and leaders who are Martin Guitar lovers and owners. We know Martin guitars have played an important part if many of your lives. The first high quality guitar GITC's founder, Jess Baron ever experienced was getting her own Martin Herringbone D-28 for her 17th birthday. She had already been playing for 11 years. Her parents knew what to do.
Faculty trainer, GITC board member and Co-Director of Education, Joan Maute is playing her ’53 Martin 00-18 above and to the left. She affectionately calls this gem Scarface as a nod to all the wear and tear this treasured instrument has sustained over the decades! Please share YOUR Martin Guitar stories with us on our facebook page!
