Craig Chaquico is the platinum-selling lead guitarist and songwriter with Jefferson Starship as well as a chart-topping smooth jazz solo artist. From the radio-friendly opening track, “Lie To Me,” to the thunderous conclusion of Robert Johnson’s “Crossroads,” Chaquico explores the thoroughfares and back alleys where blues and rock intersect. Raised in Sacramento, California, by the time he was 14 he was playing in his own band and professionally in nightclubs.

Craig is a passionate advocate for our mission and work. He educates his audiences from the stage and includes GITC in interviews, concerts and events. He is featured in the new book Guitar Player: The Inside Story, a retrospective by Jim and Dara Crockett that in part, benefits our not-for-profit.
