If you would like locate a GITC program, please click on your state in our interactive map, below, to see a listing or program locations.
Easy Directions for Registering for a GITC Class Online
Welcome to the new school year with Guitars in the Classroom! Before continuing with this process, please be sure you know which course you are registering for. You will want to know the location, level, and the name of your instructor before you fill out the registration survey.
- Click on the state in which you wish to take a class.
- Check to see if a program is currently being offered near you.
- If a program is being offered, please scroll up to the top of this page and click on "Register for a Program."
- Once on the registration page: for question 1, select your program location.
- For Question 2, choose your level. If you already took guitar last year, choose Strummer 1. If you are a beginner, choose Beginner.
- For Question 3, select the name of the instructor you saw on the Find a Regional Program page (this page) for your class.
- Answer all the questions and hit Submit at the end and you are registered!!
WHAT IF THERE ISN'T A PROGRAM IN YOUR AREA AT THIS TIME?
- If an instructor's name is listed without program information (listed in a grey font), a class may be starting in your area soon. Please email that instructor directly.
- If there is nothing being offered where you are, please fill in the Contact Us information and let us know you want us to start a program in your region and how we can reach you. We're always helping people develop new programs around the country! Looking forward to strumming and singing with you soon!
