Basic Participation - Level 1

This Level of participation is very easy and both your exposure and ours together. GITC web designers will make your web page for you, link it to our portal about GITC Artists, and our staff will send you flyers you can distribute on the road and inventory any CDs and product you wish to donate. GITC is a non-profit organization and all contributions, cash or in-kind, are tax deductible.

Making a personal statement with my photo, a quote, a story, and links at the GITC website.

Educating audience members about GITC at my gigs and making information available for them.

Donating signed CDs, DVDs or swag as fundraising incentives and teacher contest and lesson contribution prizes.

Active Participation- Level 2

If you are interested in actively participating in inspiring and spreading GITC programs when you are on tour, you may participate in any Level 1 activities and add other ways listed below, Please let us know what sounds interesting!

Visiting GITC schools when I’m on tour.

Visiting teacher training classes to inspire teachers when I’m on tour.

Appearing and speaking at a fundraising event or “salon” when I’m on tour.

Performing or giving a testimonial about GITC in a video for funders.

Helping GITC reach out to potential new friends and contributors over the phone or in writing.

Writing an article for the GITC e-newsletter.

Becoming an active member of the Artist Advisory Council.

Pro-Active Participation- Level 3

If you are interested in actively participating in inspiring and spreading GITC programs when you are on tour, you may participate in any Level 1 and 2 activities and add other ways listed below, Please let us know what sounds interesting!

Performing at a benefit concert or house concert.

Presenting a guitar donation in collaboration with a manufacturer or sponsor for the press.

Recording a public service announcement when GITC has a major event.

Helping GITC reach out to other artists in your creative circle.

Acting as a GITC spokesperson in the media/news.

Co-signing GITC fundraising letters or chairing a fund drive.

Being a key note presenter at GITC faculty training workshops.

Collaborating on GITC curriculum for the classroom.
