Beginner Plus San Diego Summer 2015

What do we teachers all have in common? We can’t find our keys as we are walking out the door to teach. With everything we have to keep track of, these are the last thing on our minds and the first thing we’re going to need to get to school.

Today’s teachers in the final San Diego intensive have been learning to play, sing and write the Blues. This musical form has a well-worn place in classrooms. But this is a blues the ladies wrote just for themselves. It follows the traditional 12 bar blues progression and melody. Sing it if you dare. Be prepared to smile. This song is definitely NOT for the classroom.
