Happy New Year! Let’s Strum and Sing!

HHI teachersHey there, San Diego! The new year is here and it’s the perfect time to get involved making more musical learning in our schools and preschools possible. And now that the Chargers have finished up their awesome season, your week-ends are the perfect time for strumming and singing songs. And we have a new training class open for registration for anyone working with children birth to 18 who wants to lead songs for learning and can make it to a weekly class on Tuesdays after school. If you or someone you know would like to learn to sing, play guitar, lead and write songs- and help kids learn the fun way. thisMINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA free BEGINNER class could be the ticket. No experience is necessary. Showers singers are WELCOME. You will start sounding wonderful in no time at all. Our approach is very easy. Participants will develop essential musical skills and understandings while learning to boost student learning by expanding oral language practice through songs and songwriting with the Common Core!

Community members who are dedicated to leading music with children are welcome to join us, too.

The dates will be 1/28, 2/4 and 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4 , 3/11 and 3/18/14. Registration is limited and will be closed when we reach 24 teachers. Loaner guitars are available by request from GITC, free of charge, courtesy of Godin Guitars.
