Rob Greenfield, Founder of The Greenfield Group and lifelong Adventurer, will bike over 4,500 miles across the US completely sustainably to raise $10,000 for 1% for the planet non-profits Guitars in the Classroom and Below the Surface, among others.
He will begin his cross-country journey on April 20th, 2013 after a kick-off event at Earth Day San Francisco. From there, he’ll journey across Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. As he bikes across the country, Rob will advocate and raise awareness for sustainable eco-practices, including planting indigenous plants and trees and eating only locally grown or harvested food. For more details on Rob’s ‘Rules of the Road’, see here.
Rob’s goal is to raise $10,000 through individual and corporate sponsors.
